LABOR DAY IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER...

Dear Friends,

Labor Day is more than just the unofficial end of summer. It is a day to recognize the hard work, dedication, and contributions of American workers who help make our communities strong.

Here are a few interesting Labor Day facts you may not know:

  • Labor Day became a federal holiday in 1894.
  • The first Labor Day parade took place in New York City in 1882.
  • Labor Day was created to recognize the social and economic achievements of American workers.
  • It is always celebrated on the first Monday of September, giving many families a well-deserved three-day weekend.
  • Here in Southwest Florida, Labor Day is also a great opportunity to enjoy our beaches, spend time with family, and appreciate everything that makes our area such a wonderful place to live.

As you enjoy the long weekend, I hope you take some time to relax, recharge, and enjoy it with the people who matter most.

And if a move is on your horizon, whether you're thinking about buying or listing your home in Charlotte or Sarasota County, I'm always happy to be a resource and help you understand your options.

Wishing you and your family a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Labor Day!
